SBNA participated in The New Hope Missionary Baptist Church's Community Health Fair on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 where free health screenings were offered.
Several members participated in the YFACE / Youth For A Cleaner Environment 7th Annual Healthy Kids Walk and Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, August 22, 2015 in Forsyth Park.
100 were in attendance for our 4th Annual Health Forum & Education Luncheon held on August 15, 2015 at Carey Hilliard's Restaurant on Abercorn. We were pleased to have Serena Garcia, Associate Director, Communications for the Georgia State Office of AARP as our guest speaker.
SBNA participated in the Department of Public Health's "Take Charge - Get Tested" Health Fair on Saturday, June 27 at Oglethorpe Mall.
On June 20, 2015, members participated in The Daughters of Mary Magdalene's Juneteenth celebration in the 38th Street Park. The event celebrated African American freedom and emphasized education and achievement.
